Mister Cleghorn’s Seal

Mister Cleghorn an old and alone man sits on his balcony miserable that he sold his shop. Suddenly he received an invitation letter. When he gets the letter, he sees it's from his cousin inviting him to visit him and his family. He accepts his invitation, and while there he has a good time, until he goes to see a seal pup. And from there starts the story of mister Cleghorn and the seal pup.
My favorite part of the book was when mister Cleghorn was basically forced to sit next to the seal pup because it would bark when he moved away. I liked this part because its heart warming to see the seal pup wanting him to be by its side.
Yes, I would recommend this book to a friend. When you start reading it you start to think this will be an average story, not until you see the big star of the book and suddenly your obsessed.
The main thing I would want other kids to know about this book is that it shows that not only can people have special connection with animals, but animals can have a special connection with people too.
