Normal People

Normal People
By: Sally Rooney

I really loved Normal People, I have read it twice and watched the adaptation, and script. I am now rereading and I've noticed so many things I missed when reading the first time. The book is beautiful in the way of how realistic it is watching "normal people" grow but not actually grow at all. The character development happens but ever so slightly that it seems they've barely made any progress from the ages of 18 to 22. But they have just not as drastic as most people might hope. The characters Marianne and Connell are so relatable but in different ways, to me it felt like Sally Rooney watched a story of my life and wrote it down on paper.
