Summer Reading Challenge
All ages - children, teens and adults

We're thrilled to announce that this year's Summer Reading Challenge at the Brentwood Public Library is going to be the most exciting one yet! The theme, "All Together Now," encourages readers of all ages to explore the world through books.
From June 24-August 19, you can register for the challenge either online or in-person at the library. Keep track of your reading progress and earn cool prizes along the way too!
Children (Ages 5-12)
This summer, read at home for a chance to win an awesome prize! The goal of the Challenge is to keep kids reading and learning while school is out. Kids can choose to read books, magazines, comics, eBooks or listen to audiobooks—all reading counts!
Raffle prizes include:
- Nintendo Switch Lite
- Tickets to the Long Island Aquarium
- Fujifilm Instax Mini camera
- and more!
Enter your books and earn up to 10 virtual raffle tickets! Winners will be contacted after August 20.

Teens (Ages 13-17)
Participate in our Teen Summer Reading Super Fight Challenge this summer and be entered for a chance to win awesome prizes! All you have to do is stop by the Teen Room and cast your vote on a who-would-win in any of our famous fandom character matchups. Be sure to tune in to our live Twitch stream on Friday, August 25 at 7:00 pm as we announce the raffle winners and award our prizes! You can vote for each matchup only once and must be convincing with your reasoning! Each time you vote, you will be entered into a raffle of your choice!

Adults (Ages 18 and up)
Looking to dive into an exciting story this summer? Join our summer reading challenge! Review books, audiobooks, e-books, manga, graphic novels and more for the chance to win a prize.
