Children

The Brentwood Public Library is now lending toys!  Play is essential to the healthy growth and development of children. Borrowing a toy from our collection is an opportunity to try out a new toy and enjoy playtime with your child.

Our collection currently includes 16 educational and recreational toys appropriate for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You can browse the collection on the library’s online catalog or visit the children’s reference desk to look at a binder of our circulating toys.

Any Brentwood library card holder can borrow a toy.

Visit the children’s reference desk to pick up a toy. The toys can also be placed on hold through the library’s catalog, or by clicking on the pictures below.  Search by keyword, i.e. truck, or by call number J Toy. Be sure to limit the search to material type “other.”

Toys can be borrowed for 2 weeks (14 days).

Please return toys to the circulation desk.

Contact the Children’s department for more information.
