Body Paragraph

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian - Sherman Alexie
This book changed my opinion of books. Before reading this, I would rarely ever read something on my own unless it was forcefully assigned by a teacher. This book is so different from anything I've ever read before. It is the most entertaining piece of literature that I was introduced to in school. It is realistic and down to earth. The foul language in the book is what makes it stand out. The author did a great job of keeping it hilarious instead of it just being "obnoxious swearing". The story is unique and remains lighthearted while simultaneously touching on deep and serious subjects. Through the main character's life, we are introduced to the hardships that are faced by life on the reservations. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is mature enough to read it.
