Body Paragraph

"The Black Cat" is a scary story by Edgar Allan Poe about guilt, madness, and the power of a troubled conscience. The main character becomes obsessed with his black cat and does terrible things, even killing it. He feels guilty and paranoid, especially when a new black cat that looks like the first one shows up. The story shows how our actions can have bad consequences and how guilt can drive us crazy. It's a spooky reminder to think before we act and to face our guilt instead of letting it consume us.
